As you may know, a wealth of projects has kept my attention from the blog lately. For now, keep up wih me via Facebook where I will announce publishing of the NEW "IT" Look blog! The support and wonderful opportunities mean so much
Ainsley and its beautifully eclectic style might be based in New York, but the label brought our imaginations to the Southwest for its very first NYFW presentation. A passionate palette of color mimicked semiprecious hues interpreted in tigers eye color silk, vivid lapis blue cashmere and vivid, moderized tribal prints. The couture-worthy sportswear originally arrived in its Spring 2012 debut season to AInsley's online boutique and Barney's Japan.

Last night’s 48th Annual Academy Awards brought forth lots of classic hair do’s that are timelessly hot in style. Jessica Chastain’s ultra-soft waves took the latest in Oscar hairstyles back to fun, sexy basics.
NYFW began with a sultry, unique vibe with Italian fashion diva Pamela Quinzi's collection featured at East 21st Street lounge Room Service NYC.
The theme: "Cinderella of New York for Huntress". Thigh-bearing hems were designed exquisitely and paired with Quinzi's self-designed platform pumps and couture heels. Mixed pastels and satin were kept chic, with enough provoactive attitude to be seen on these streets. Adding a denim vest or jacket can help "funky up" the looks (which, by the way, we can't wait to be seen in!)

Models in New York City know that Fashion Week is hotness.. and business. The transition comes easy for drama-eyed fashion and undies model Rafael Valentino, whose path to fame actually began with a career in politics. "My mother was first to suggest that I try modeling." The Washington, D.C. native explained during a conversation at Milk Studios. "The next day, a photographer was at my house taking the first headshots." Rafael posted his first pictures via social media, summoning professional attention amongst talent agents on the East Coast. By June 2011, Valentino was signed to RED Model Management and appeared almost immediately, walking the Spring 2012 runways of Richard Harris, Edwin D'Angelo, Libertine and Love Brigade. Rafael Valentino was also the only model named in Essence.com's feature EYE CANDY: PYT alongside entertainers Drake, Chris Brown and Trey Songz.

At 6'3" and Caribbean descent, Rafael's smoldering looks stood out during his second season on the Libertine runway. His extraordinary features were also photographed as the face of ENYCE's Spring/Summer 2012 ad campaign. In January, Valentino appeared as one of 8 metallic models for skater-inspired clothing Trukfit designed by super rapper Lil Wayne.
Ah Kittens, we kicked off New Years Day talking about the Pink Prosperity Diamond which is phenomenal and decadent (more on that later); moreover, they are a family run business whose pieces are only available online! This diamond is one of many that is available at Leibish & Co! Valued at $1.6 Million, this is a piece that you will definitely remember seeing and if you have the opportunity to wear it, you won't want to put it down! With my love for all things glitzy and fab, when I was requested for a fun event - there was no way that I could say no! So after gathering fab influencers that should definitely find out more about fab pieces and picking out the perfect Theia Couture dress from their Spring 12 collection, I was very excited to host this event!
As an Accessories Expert, I have appeared on a number of segments, weighed in on articles and I always know the perfect item to complete a look. So when Leibish & Co asked me to come to the St Regis Hotel last Thursday to present their fabulous diamonds and World of Colors Fancy Diamond Chart, my schedule opened up immediately. In attendance was Leibish Polnauer, president of this company. For the past 30 years he has not only offered phenomenal diamonds from a number of price ranges but he just released a colored diagram that showcases the number of hues that diamonds can come in from various white, yellow, reds and more! This comes to over 250+ colors! Above, you can see a number of images from Leibish and I, their gorgeous model who rocked a number of phenom pieces - pieces that were actually owned by an amazing couple who attended sharing their story and how diamonds are an investment for them as they spent over $1 Million.
I loved being able to take attendees through a walk through of the diamonds offered and introducing people to those who have purchased Leibish & Co diamonds over the years. Being able to wear the Pink Prosperity Diamond was definitely something amazing and wearing a fabulous Yellow Diamond bracelet that was 54 carats and $160,000 was phenomenal - it was sad to take them off at the end of the night! Of course, at every event, it's a way for me to chat with friends and my sister (she is on my right above). See more about the event and those that popped by visiting, Leibish & Co's page!
